Oakville & St. Eustache Continued Stacheville Partnership
The landscape of rural minor hockey is evolving rapidly, requiring unified efforts to ensure growth, sustainability, and excellence. With the rise of non-sanctioned hockey in the region and Central Plains remaining the smallest region in Manitoba, creative and collaborative approaches are essential to provide positive experiences for our members and continue developing players of all skills, abilities, and ages.
Oakville Minor Hockey Association (OMHA) and St. Eustache Minor Hockey Association (STEMHA) are pleased to announce our continued partnership aimed at advancing these goals. At the forefront of this transformation are initiatives to increase female hockey participation, optimize ice time allocation, and enhance player development across the board. OMHA and STEMHA are looking forward to building on the many successes seen last season, with new friendships, heightened development opportunities and rewarding outcomes both on and off the ice! We will continue to run a joint hockey development committee to manage team formations, address member requests, coordinate ice schedules, and align hockey development opportunities for all players from U9 to U18.
How does this affect us today, tomorrow and into the future?
- Ability to offer increased development opportunities for our players.
- Ability to form an all female team from U9 to U15.
- Ensure our players can continue to play as much hockey in Oakville as possible, allowing our local Arena to continue to grow and thrive into the future.
- Shared rosters and ice time with STEMHA from U9 to U18.
As we embark on this collaborative journey, our mission remains clear: to holistically develop young athletes. By pooling our resources and expertise, we are establishing a sustainable model that enhances player growth and strengthens community bonds.

Registration Fees
As part of the continued partnership outlined above, OMHA and STEMHA have aligned registration fees for all players. A fundraising fee of $100 is now built into the registration fees, and no longer paid as a separate fee. Each OMHA player will receive $100 in Grey Cup tickets early in the season, with ticket sale proceeds staying with the player’s family. Registration fees have increased by $15 at all age groups, driven solely by the $11-13 increase in fees paid to Hockey Manitoba for each player registered with OMHA this upcoming season.
Registration Fees
U7 - $415 (first year players)
U7 - $540 (returning players)
U9 - $740
U11 - $765
U13 - $815
U15 - $865
U18 - $1015
Payment Options
Registration fees can be paid in full or by equal payments made sent to OMHA no later than July 31, August 31, September 30 and October 31. Credit card or e-transfer will be accepted if paid in full; payment plan only available by e-transfer.
